Friends, business partners, and terrorists
Just as LinkedIn, Facebook.com and other social networks become increasingly popular, a New York Times article asks if government can find terrorists based on their associations. The 19 hijackers aboard the Sept. 11 planes were just a few associations apart. Any two Americans are just 6 connections apart.
And interestingly, a Notre Dame professor says any two pages on the Internet are just 19 links apart.
